Homemade Kids Couch

Mike is craftier than I. Proof by the adorable couch that he made for Atlas! Atlas loves it and sits on it all the time!

His new thing is pulling up a blanket and getting cozy all by himself.

Just hangin out, laughin and smiling.

I LOVE SUMMER! but mostly, I love water! Chillin in the sun next to the pool with a good book and my new sunglasses, watching a cutie play in the kid pool is all I need this summer!

Who says you need sand to have fun with a sand bucket and shovel?

And the other day hanging out at the park for more than two hours with friends, popsicles, and a spray park was a lot of fun! We'll definitely be doing that on most of the days that we're not at the pool :). This is Atlas' first popsicle.

Lunch with Toddlers (Staring Lily and Atlas [6weeks apart])

Its really fun to see toddlers interact with other toddlers, somehow they seem to connect with each other and understand each other better than we do. These two are especially cute together. Lily is the slightly younger daughter of one of our friends who is also the other seminary teacher in our ward so Atlas and Her have spent alot of time together. What you see below is a series of clips sliced from one continuous video taken at lunch last week while Ariel watched both of them.

What is it about messy babies?

I don't know why I just love when Atlas is all messy. Maybe its because it is such an innocent happiness and he doesn't even realize that SOMEBODY has to actually clean all of it up! This little face makes me not mind the cleanup :)
